We are currently hiring for our next Maintenance Reliability Manager in Cincinnati, OH.

The Maintenance and Reliability Manager is responsible for the overall brewery maintenance and coordination of related activities with other departments in full compliance with company policy and objectives. The Leader in this role must ensure food Quality and Safety as it relates to maintenance.

What You'll Do:

* Must be able to work in and promote a team oriented and "Safety First" environment. Safely, efficiently, and effectively work to attain department and brewery goals and objectives. Help ensure "No bad beer leaves the brewery"

* Understands, follows, and enforces all established safety, health, quality GMP and Company policies, procedures, and recognized practices

* Participates in brewery staff, shift and safety meetings, and conducts regular departmental meetings and training based on business needs

* Develops new methods and procedures to optimize manufacturing efficiency and reduce operating costs

* Provides maintenance guidance and oversight for all brewery associates; motivates, coaches and develops a diverse, high performing and engaged team to meet established goals and build technical capability.

* Is willing and demonstrates ability to work collaboratively/effectively with union employees.

* Develop and enhance employee skill-sets through in-house training and / or recommended specialized training

* Identify gaps and roadblocks to successful execution of brewery KPI's and develop plans to close gaps

* Communicate metrics for maintenance and reliability activities. Owns and drives improvement around planned and unplanned downtime and breakdowns

* Provides resourcing and support to autonomous maintenance activities

* Leverage Root Cause Analysis as foundational tool to drive safety, quality, and process improvements

* Monitor metrics develop plans, and propose solutions for improvement

* Participate in budgeting process, support cost goals, and identify productivity

* opportunities

* Support planning and scheduling of maintenance and leverage tools to achieve department goals

* Support Systems and Equipment Ownership capability development

* Partner with Engineering to develop and implement new methods and procedures designed to improve operations, minimize operating costs, and effect greater utilization of labor and materials

* Continually reduces equipment downtime and increase availability through the establishment of a preventive/predictive maintenance program (including failure analysis) designed, directed, monitored, and continually improved. Build Capability and ownership of these systems down to the team level over time.

* Understanding and ability to identify/implement LEAN initiatives in maintenance department.

* Establishes and maintains a SOX-compliant stockroom operation that provides repair parts for critical process equipment as well as necessary consumables for the brewery.

* Maintains direct contact with the Engineering department on the latest improvements to plant machinery and systems to effectively increase manufacturing performance and reduce operating costs

* Determines and controls maintenance budget to ensure efficient use of funds and reduce/eliminate repetitive purchases by identifying and eliminating root causes.

* Responsible for the selection, training, and development of shift personnel to attain department goals

* Interfacing with brewery management and personnel to provide hands-on situational troubleshooting expertise as well as identification, investigation, evaluation, and recommendation of new and innovative projects, processes, or equipment to achieve operating cost reductions, capacity expansions, manufacturing flexibility improvement opportunities, improved product quality, and governmental compliance.

* Ability to be flexible and shift priorities in a constantly changing, fast-paced work environment.

* Travel as needed to support business initiatives

What We're Looking For:

Required:

* Bachelor's Degree in in Mechanical, Electrical, Process, or Chemical Engineering or related fields

* 10 years' experience in a leadership role, with increasing level of people and process responsibility required

* Overall site maintenance management with packaging, process, and facility maintenance experience in a Consumer-Packaged Goods environment

* Proven ability to establish work process and systems which increase productivity

* Excellent verbal and written communication, including the ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers

* Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary customer service

* Ability to work independently and to carry out assignments to completion, with proven experience in delivery against key KPI's

* Proven experience of leveraging maintenance managers to drive results at the technical level

* Collaborates well with others: proactively contributes to group objectives; volunteers to help others

* Command of maintenance excellence pillars

* Lean manufacturing experience as it relates to maintenance

* Demonstrated equipment/process troubleshooting skills

* Demonstrated project/idea development skills

* Solid financial aptitude and experience managing a budget

* Knowledge of industrial control software systems

* Demonstrated experience improving employee engagement and developing high performance team to solve problems and deliver results

* Extensive practical experience with high-speed bottling/packaging operations in food/beverage industries preferred

* Highly effective multi-tasker; resourceful with a "get-it-done, can-do" attitude.

* Able to impact and effect positive change with a flexible, open-minded, positive approach

Desired:

* Understanding of PLC (Allen Bradley) preferred

* Process/Packaging maintenance experience highly desired
