What You'll Do
As a Laboratory Technician, you understand the true meaning of hard work. You are smart, strong, and have a “roll up your sleeves” attitude towards your work. You are extremely detail-oriented when analyzing samples and recording results. You’re a great problem solver and take on any responsibility thrown your way. We understand that you may not have a vast amount of laboratory experience; however we do provide extensive training and opportunities for certifications. You will be part of a dynamic, growing, and energized team - and your role is key to the success of ECS. While your job duties may fluctuate day to day, here are some areas we expect to see you proficient in:
Working in a laboratory that tests both geotechnical and CMT materials
Testing routine laboratory materials such as soils, concrete, and masonry
Calibrating and maintaining laboratory equipment
Keeping the laboratory in compliance with QA/QC initiatives, DOT, AMRL, CCRL, and AASHTO accreditation requirements
Working as a field technician performing soils and concrete testing in the field
Performing calculations and data reduction of test results
What We're Looking For
High School diploma or GED
0 – 2 years of experience
Some serious GRIT and have no problem lifting/carrying 40 – 100 lbs. multiple times a day
Must be able to provide suitable transportation for use on job sites – Mileage will be reimbursed
