Position Summary

The Digital Upsell Rep will be focused on creating business relationships with CDK's current advertising clients. The rep will call on accounts over the phone and increase incremental revenue by discussing their advertising needs and current spend and moving them to higher valued advertising packages and products. The Digital Upsell rep will be assigned an annual plan and work under the guidance of the Digital DOS. Excellent sales skills with a high level of proficiency in communications needed. Proven sales track-record with minimum of 1 to 3 years of experience in B2B technology sales, preferably in the digital and/or automotive space.

Position Responsibilities & Essential functions

§ Create activity by calling into current advertising accounts to upgrade advertising packages.

§ Collaborate with DAA on current advertising effectiveness and areas for opportunity

§ Identify and define growth opportunities in the market for the business.

§ Develop an overall sales plan and forecast sales results for both the short and long term.

§ Generate advertising revenue and profit growth utilizing a disciplined and process-oriented approach.

§ Set clear, measurable performance goals to consistently achieve a sales quota.

§ Interface and work with internal teams through the sales and implementation process.

§ Understands industry segment and keep abreast of competitor developments in the market and/or territory.

§ Develop comprehensive understanding of CDK products

§ Utilize Salesforce for maintaining client information, forecasting, and sales process

Qualifications & Job Requirements

* Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience

* Minimum of 1 to 3 years in a sakes environment, preferably inside sales, with track record of performance

* Experience using consultative solution selling to align client's business needs with a solution

* Experience upselling value of products

* Must be able to negotiate and close sales opportunities

* Ability to develop and manage a sales territory

* Persuasive written and verbal communication skills

* Strong presentation skills

* Experience using a CRM

* Strong computer skills

* Ability to travel 5% or more with possible overnight travel
