Hussmann is looking for an innovative Assistant Product Manager to support our product development in a variety of functions. This includes leading product development projects, pulling and analyzing data to support product strategies. Supporting marketing material development and interaction and training with the sales and channel partner teams. Lead development activities across all functions to deliver value for our customers and serve as the point of reference for market understanding and product needs. Measure and improve the effectiveness of product development and marketing activities in alignment with the Hussmann's LRP and AOP plans.

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Customer Needs: Understanding & analyzing customers product requirements, input, & feedback, and take actions to ensure current and new products continuously meet and exceed these customer requirements. Develop strategies that maximize profitability.

Product Management: Lead product management activities that stimulate the development and introduction of new products utilizing new and/or emerging technologies providing strategic and competitive advantage. Lead development efforts to insure prime cost objectives are met. Establish pricing. Develop annual product plans to meet requirements of the market & organization (pricing, rationalize out, VA/VE efforts….). Provide leadership to the engineering & sales organization within the product development process. Balance the needs of the market with the capabilities, competencies and resources of the Company and the Global Panasonic and Hussmann Organization.

Product Marketing: Lead & manage the development of sales support materials for all products to ensure products are fully supported with literature, new product launch packages, sales tools, web page content and product differentiation support materials. Provide Sales & Marketing groups with continuously updated competitive value selling material & conduct sales training as needed.

Market Understanding: Access opportunities by thoroughly understanding market sizes, segmentation's, & trends through Research, VOC & Focus group studies, competitive SWOT analysis & other methods.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

Bachelor degree in, marketing or related business development discipline.

3-5 years' experience in Product Management and Marketing Concepts

Understanding of marketing and strategic business planning.

Analytical thinker.

Very good communicator and organizer.

Fluency in English, any additional languages (preferably Spanish) is an asset.

Strong computer skills.

Able & willing to travel 5-10% of time.
