Build.com is run highly autonomously and essentially acts as the direct-to-consumer digital arm of Ferguson.

What is the opportunity for you?

You will be obtaining new business through a strategic outbound phone approach with Professionals purchasing in our space. You must be present, invested, and committed to the overall PRO customer experience. You are passionate about superb relationship building, a have a strategic sales approach and superior problem-solving skills. We depend on you to communicate the Build.com PRO value proposition clearly to their targeted leads, allowing the Account Manager to grow incremental sales.

What are you going to do:

* An Account Manager is responsible to make a minimum of 30 Outbound phone calls per day, including at least one strategic, value-driven phone call to each business they manage per month.

* A rep is responsible for maintaining excellent customer service and sales strategy standards through call quality, problem-solving, ownership of any customer issue, and going above & beyond to address all business needs.

* Maintaining customer records by logging and retaining correct and precise information in Salesforce.com on the Account page. Each Salesforce Account page should detail each project and the existing strategic approach to win more business being taken by the Account Manager.

* Long-term responsibilities are to find any inefficiencies in post-sales processes to help decrease the number of unnecessary phone calls.

* This person will work with a team of 15-20 other salespeople.

* Success will be measured through revenue and margin performance with managed accounts, including measuring the growth in those managed accounts from point of ownership assignment.

* Manage up to 200 Professional Accounts, demonstrating appropriate growth and retention rates as established by the business.

* Additional responsibilities and duties will be assigned based on the needs of the business

* Not to exceed 45 hours per week in work

What are you going to bring to the table:

* 2+ years of sales experience, preferably in a strategic sales capacity

* Experience with consultative sales tactics

* Experience in a customer facing, fast-paced, service related role

* Proven experience utilizing critical thinking tools to solve customer issues.

* All applicants must be highly detail oriented and have superior verbal and written communication skills.

* Software you expect the Candidate to have experience with:

* Excel

* Familiarity with the Microsoft Office and Google Office suites

* Salesforce experience preferred or comparable

* Familiarity with an order management system

* Ability to type 40+ WPM

* Strong organizational skills

Compensation: Hourly, Bonus + Commission
