Regional Leader - North Central

XL Catlin's Broker and Client Management group helps drive business growth by enabling XL Catlin's brokers and clients gain seamless access to XL Catlin's risk management services, and multi-line property, casualty, professional and specialty insurance coverage in North America. As the Regional Leader in XL Catlin's US North Central region, you will be an integral part of XL Catlin's growth strategy.

What will your essential responsibilities include?

* Developing and executing strategies to grow XL Catlin's overall revenue within XL Catlin's US North Central region, in collaboration with XL Catlin's underwriting leadership and Americas Leadership Team

* Developing and maintaining deep relationships with key personnel at brokers within, or having influence within, XL Catlin's US North Central region, in order to promote XL Catlin's overall and specific "value propositions" across all lines of business

* Developing and executing on regional growth and relationship priorities with each of the global brokers in XL Catlin's US North Central region, in collaboration with XL Catlin's underwriting leadership and the appropriate XL Catlin Broker Relationship Leader

* Developing, coordinating, and maintaining XL Catlin's corporate relationship with designated clients and prospects in order to preserve existing business, expand XL Catlin's relationship, resolve issues, and increase account specific revenue

* Maintaining responsibility for Client Distribution Leaders (CDLs) in XL Catlin's US North Central region, and jointly direct their activities along with XL Catlin's Head of Broker & Client Management for the Americas

* Collaborating with XL Catlin's underwriting leadership to identify and develop new products

* Identifying potential new intermediaries for XL Catlin to work with

* Developing new ways of offering XL Catlin solutions and selling more XL Catlin insurance products

* Providing executive leadership in XL Catlin's US North Central region

* Organizing and leading XL Catlin's "cross sell" activities within XL Catlin's US region in collaboration with each XL Catlin business unit and line of business underwriting leaders

* Developing intermediary specific growth plans with specific intermediaries within Xl Catlin's US North Central region

* Organizing and hosting XL Catlin "Key City Events" and other broker/client events within XL Catlin's US North Central region

You will report to XL Catlin's Head of Broker & Client Management for the Americas

We're looking for someone who has these abilities and skills:

* 15 or more years of experience in the commercial P&C industry

* Previous experience as an insurance intermediary or underwriter

* Previous insurance sales and/or relationship management experience

* Knowledge of the commercial insurance market in the US North Central region, including knowledge of and relationships with key brokers in the US North Central Region

* Ability to lead and collaborate on sales opportunities

* Previous insurance management experience is preferred
