POSITION SUMMARY

The Senior Customer Collaboration Supply Chain Analyst coordinates customer planning processes and conducts functional analysis for assigned Customers across the North American. Initiatives will include both strategic and tactical projects and will use quantitative analysis to identify strategies and continuous improvement opportunities to drive supply chain efficiencies between USG and Customers. Processes supported by the analyst including customer vendor compliance reporting, general knowledge of customer ordering and delivery expectations, and forecast information. The role will collaborate with manufacturing, Logistics Planning & Operation's teams, Logistics Demand Planning team, Transportation, Business Units, Strategic Sourcing, Customer Service, and directly with assigned customer(s) to improve supply chain efficiencies and business results.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

* Manage Supply Chain CM development activities for assigned customer(s).

* Collaborate with Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Customer Service, Sales and Product Management

* Analyze and measure cost to serve performance for assigned customer(s), monitor and improve service performance.

* Utilize statistical tools and perform root cause analysis.

* Develop and implement recommendations that drive continuous improvement in customer compliance and customer service performance metrics.

* Lead cross functional teams and provide subject matter expertise and analytical support for assigned projects.

* Collaborate with the assigned customer supply chain inventory planner(s) on a regular basis to obtain business intel, understand current issues/opportunities, and future programs, needs.

* Manage relationship with assigned customer supply chain inventory planner / National Account Sales Manager

* Improve processes and tools as necessary that incorporate supply chain best-practices.

* Conduct training as necessary on customer specific requirements.

Required Skills

* Experience in demand, supply or inventory planning. Experience with processes and data management related to Supply Chain Planning.

* Understanding of Safety Stock and Inventory Planning methodologies.

* Experience in project management, completing independent projects, participating in/or leading small project teams.

* Demonstrated experience and ability to manage cross-functional relationships at multiple levels of the organization

* Highly proficient in Microsoft Office products, including Microsoft Access, Excel, Word. Experience in Microsoft PowerPoint, USG Answers

* Strong interpersonal skills (written and verbal)

* Ability to deliver presentation to small audiences

Preferred Skills

* Experience in Oracle or similar ERP applications

Education

* Bachelor degree in Supply Chain, Engineering or Business required

Certification Requirements

* APICS CPIM and Green Belt / Black Belt training preferred
