IFM Estimating Analyst

To support the Center of Excellence (COE) for pricing and estimating for the Integrated Facilities Management service line. The COE is a conduit between the IFM product teams and the sales and pricing teams to support the development of accurate and sustainable pricing and underwriting for new and renewal business opportunities. The role will leverage tools and databases, with a specific emphasis on tools and solutions for IFM operating expense estimating, and savings glidepath development. It will work with the Estimating Manager, partner with IFM Regional Leads, IFM Performance Manager, Solutions Managers, SME's and Pricing Managers to develop specific operating expense estimates and data support for glidepath savings.

Responsibilities:

* Modify, update and improve the accuracy of existing operating expense estimating tools via the following activities:

* Interact with the IFM Service line, Client Accounting, Sourcing, Engineering, and other internal resources to identify and mine all available data resources for benchmark/estimating creation

* Work closely with the Strategic Sourcing SME's and Engineering SME's to improve and expand vendor-based pricing models and collect savings glidepath historical proposals and performance

* Mine and collect data from benchmarking, financial, sourcing and other databases to gather specific data and benchmarks and historic performance metrics to develop and improve estimating effectiveness.

* Develop standardized reports and key outputs from pricing tools in support of pricing and proposal deliverables

* Support the Solutions and Pricing managers in responding to active pursuits via the following activities:

* Run estimating models for specified FM services for active pursuits

* Work with Pricing Managers, SME's, pricing database and other available resources to assist in validation of estimating model results

* Provide benchmarks and all related available data from pricing database specific to active pursuits

* Document and educate the pursuit team in estimating assumptions, dependencies and sources of data supporting the estimating models

* Provide data to ensure standard cost vs. price metrics and work with pricing team to ensure target margins are met.

* Provide data to the IFM Performance Manager to track and report on ongoing financial performance of accounts

* Document and communicate potential risks related to pricing and staffing to the Estimating manager and/or IFM Regional Directors

Requirements:

* Advanced proficiency using Excel, Tableau and other Business Intelligence tools

* Experience in mining and managing data

* Strong financial/analytical skills

* Working knowledge of facility management operations and service delivery

* Able to work on multiple projects simultaneously

* Communications skills that promote successful collaboration

* Independent worker with a team player attitude

* Strong organizational skills with an emphasis on resourcefulness

* Accuracy, thoroughness, and strong attention to detail.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

* Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics or Accounting

* Five or more years of relevant experience with and exposure to Facility Management service line operations, sourcing and/or accounting and finance functions
