Within the Finance team we are currently hiring a Finance Administrator. This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing technology company located in Downtown Chicago. To be successful in this role, candidates must be self-motivated, energetic, proactive, and work independently in a team environment. Additionally, attention to detail and the ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment is required. This position has high visibility across the company including sales, operations, finance, and service functions.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

* Ability to review contracts

* Work with Sales Operations, Delivery, Legal, Revenue, Project Managers and Sales to ensure timely and accurate invoicing

* Audit booked sales orders to ensure that data is correct

* Resolve issues pro-actively with precision to ensure that customer satisfaction is maintained

* Participate in the monthly close process and audit

* Assist with ad hoc projects, including process improvements

Requirements:

* Experience dealing with contracts & financial interpretation of clauses

* Financial experience around billing & revenue recognition

* Excellent communication skills both verbal and written

* Proven ability to multi-task, follow through, and meet deadlines

* Demonstrated problem solving and analytical skills

* Teamwork, including the ability to interact with all organizational levels.

* Flexibility and ability to adapt to fast-paced growing environment

* Proficient with MS Excel and technically strong

* Working knowledge of a widely used accounting software package

* Assist with other projects on an as-needed basis, as directed by management

Education:

We prefer college educated applicants, but at minimum, high school diploma or equivalent is required for employment.
