Position Description

Position Summary:

This role will lead the development and management of campaigns and content that reinforce Bain's brand and culture internally across our global network. Reporting to the Director, Global Brand Management, this role will work collaboratively throughout the organization to develop content and manage and deliver integrated campaigns that have a measureable impact on our culture and brand-building efforts.

Essential Functions:

  • Support Director, Global Brand Management in developing and implementing Bain's internal communications strategy, including:
  • Partnering with Bain leadership, practice areas, functional groups and regional offices to establish a clear process for campaign creation, message development, execution and measurement
  • Serving as a thought leader to ensure that communications best practices and emerging trends are appropriately integrated into Bain's internal communications strategy
  • Experimenting with various distribution channels and new technologies/platforms
  • Ensuring an effective communication cascade from senior leadership to global staff
  • Create metrics and on-going measurement of impact/engagement
  • Own day-to-day management and execution of Bain's internal communications programs, including:
  • Developing creative campaigns, including frequent, high velocity, 'snackable' communications
  • Writing, editing and publishing compelling and relevant content across a range of channels and formats (e.g. email, video, PPT, intranet, in-person, etc.)
  • Collaborating with internal teams to align all internal communications with the established strategy and process
  • Creating and maintaining an internal communications calendar
  • Following a clear RAPID on content development and distribution
  • Be an internal champion for Bain's brand voice and ensure its' consistent and “on brand“ application across all internal communications, including:
  • Conducting brand voice training for internal communicators and content creators
  • Regular review of internal communications from across the organization to ensure alignment


  • 8+ years of writing/editing experience in an internal, corporate or brand communications role (or related field)
  • Experience in a professional services or consulting firm is highly preferred
  • Writing/editing samples are required
  • A broad portfolio of creative, compelling internal communications campaigns and content
  • Demonstrated success in concepting and developing creative brand campaigns and communications, working within time and expense parameters
  • Excellent writing and storytelling skills and a passion for bringing creative ideas to life
  • Experience with a wide range of digital and social communication formats, channels and tools
  • Track record of developing effective campaigns to reach millennial audiences
  • Excellent cross-team collaboration, with a demonstrated ability to work across stakeholder groups, functional areas, geographies, and differing levels of seniority to get things done
  • Strong business acumen balanced with an ability to think creatively and conceptually
  • High level of attention to detail and accuracy
  • Fluency in spoken and written English a requirement
