Director, Demand Generation

The Director of Demand Generation will drive lead generation efforts through the development and coordination of campaigns and programs to support Gladson's growth goals, utilizing best-in-class lead generation and CRM systems. This position plays a management role as well as performing lead generation activities and reports to the VP of Marketing.

This role will be based in Gladson's new office in downtown Chicago.

Key responsibilities and activities:

* Design effective lead generation programs and processes to acquire customers in order to support revenue goals at targeted CPA (cost per acquisition) levels.

* Manage postal and e-mail campaign strategies, templates, content, list creation, creative, target sites and development of offers.

* Manage various email campaigns, including the template designs, calls-to-action, and content used in our email sends.

* Segment lists based on behaviors like past email engagement and website interactions (content downloads, site page visits, etc.).

* Measure results and optimize the lead nurturing workflows for these segments to convert leads into customers.

* Work to minimize list decay and unsubscribes while increasing the productivity of our email sends.

* Manage campaigns on a day-to-day basis, including campaign analyses, and production of detailed reports on campaign performance, conversion rates, CPA and ROI.

* Build and manage the company's social media profiles and presence, including Twitter, LinkedIn, and additional channels that may be deemed relevant.

* Create shareable content appropriate for specific networks to spread both our brand and our content.

* Monitor and engage in relevant social discussions about our company, competitors, and/or industry, both from existing leads and customers as well as from brand new audiences.

* Run regular social promotions and campaigns and track their success (e.g., Twitter chats, LinkedIn discussions, etc.).

* Drive consistent, relevant traffic and leads from our social network presence.

* Explore new ways to engage and identify new social networks to reach our target buyers.

* Work alongside other marketers and content marketers to help distribute content that educates and entertains our audience and supports marketing goals.


* Bachelor's degree in Business or Marketing

* Knowledgeable and experienced in Pardot and social media platforms

* Strategic and tactical lead generation expertise, with 3+ years in a B2B environment preferred

* Creative, innovative, resourceful and results-oriented

* Ability to organize multiple deadlines while demonstrating flexibility and the ability to organize and perform multiple tasks concurrently and efficiently

* Team player that is reliable, flexible, helpful and works well in a collaborative environment

* Detail-oriented, superior organizational and project management skills

* Strong written and verbal communication skills

* Fast learner, highly motivated, self-starter and creative

* Client-centric and service oriented positive attitude

* Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
