Digital Media Coordinator

LEVEL: Exempt

REPORTING RELATIONSHIP: Reports to Director of Marketing and Communications

PRIMARY JOB PURPOSE: This position serves as the lead videographer and content producer for the team helping to tell the ICO story across our various media and platforms.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

  • Work closely with the Director of Marketing and Communications and Assistant Director to control the content calendar (create and implement video pieces)
  • Work closely with the Director of Marketing and Communications to develop effective and engaging website content for website redesign
  • Provide video content and editing for social media posts
  • Work in tandem with the Director of Marketing and Communications to develop Instagram takeovers to ensure dynamic and current pieces
  • Work with Director of Marketing and Communications to create platform specific video content
  • Maintain ICO and IEI Facebook pages
  • Ensure that we extend ICO's reach
    • Collect and maintain ICO mentions
    • When necessary, making sure that we actively share the information collected
  • Maintain and collect google words for mentions of the College
  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

  • Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, visual communications, multimedia, media, or similar field
  • Excellent written and spoken skills
  • Ability to tell a compelling story
  • Ability to work well in a small tight-knit team environment
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Knowledge of social media channels and CMS platforms, preferably Wix or html5
  • Willingness to learn
  • Attendance must be in accordance with College policy
