PwC's Strategy& Customer Strategists help clients develop a clearly articulated strategy for how to value, obtain, serve, and retain customers - beginning with how they focus on and align themselves to the highest value customer segments. They use customer insights and market analytics to enable our clients to make smarter decisions to integrate products, services, channels and delivery in ways that delight and surprise customers. Position/Program Requirements Minimum Year(s) of Experience: 7

Minimum Degree Required: Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Computer Science or Engineering

Degree Preferred: Master's degree or Doctorate

Knowledge Preferred:

Demonstrates intimate knowledge of, and/or success in roles within a professional services firm or corporate environment, helping companies deploy, design and implement big-data solutions using a diverse set of technologies and solutions, emphasizing the following areas: -Statistical industry-leading practices, and systems and processes used in data management; - Data mining, data analytics, predictive modeling and advanced modeling techniques; - Application development using JAVA, PYTHON, R, etc.; and, - Cloud computing--e.g., Amazon Web Services, RackSpace Cloud, and OpenStack.

Skills Preferred:

Demonstrates proven intimate abilities in leadership, strategic thinking, problem solving, and individual initiative involving data management and analytics, including building powerful data discovery and analytics capabilities/models that provide the insights that drive strategic decisions for clients and optimize business performance, as well as the following related areas: - Anticipating requirements for big-data solutions to solve business problems and provide data solutions that are organized and simple to understand; - Utilizing data technology and understanding the data technology architecture, data development lifecycle and data tools and technologies, particularly in memory/database and open source technology--e.g. Hadoop, Pig, Hive, Mahout, SQL, Map, Reduce, Yarn HBASE, and vendor-specific tools like Aster and Impala; - Leveraging business intelligence and reporting tools such as Cognos and QlikView; - Using large, distributed RDBMS e.g. Teradata, SAS, Aster Data and Oracle; - Building productive and collaborative relationships with team members and proactively seeking and providing guidance, clarification and feedback; - Leading teams to generate a vision and creating an atmosphere of trust, leveraging diverse views and encouraging improvement and innovation; - Identifying and addressing client needs: building, maintaining, and utilizing networks of client relationships; - Communicating effectively in an organized and knowledgeable manner in written and verbal formats.
