Account Executive - B2B Media/Advertising (REMOTE)

About the Role

Gap Incs Media team is part of the Strategic Growth Office, which is at the forefront of driving our next chapter of growth. As an Account Executive of Media/Advertising, you will own a list of assigned accounts for direct digital advertising sales. You will have the opportunity to develop and scale Gaps digital advertising partnerships working with media agencies and brands directly, developing go-to-market strategies, defining the brand objectives and tactics for delivering successful media campaigns. You will partner closely with data and operations teams to build solutions for advertisers and be the voice of the customer for what is needed to build out a world class first party data capability ensuring brand right placements that drive value through data driven digital and direct solutions. The leader will have accountabilities across all aspects of the revenue side of the Media business from sales, marketing and finance etc. This leader will build out a global team responsible for driving revenue growth for the Media business, end-to-end in partnership with Gap Incs leadership team, customers, and other stakeholders. This role will champion the growth opportunity across our portfolio. The Account Executive role in the Media team will report to Media Sales leadership and partner closely with the Media Operations Leader.

What You'll Do

  • Accelerate the Revenue Growth and Demand Generation for the Gap Media offering within a dynamic, technology-driven environment
  • Create media programs for brands using managed service and programmatic channels at scale
  • Partner with our expert leaders across brands on assets that can be put to market and ensure strategy is complementary to our owned brands
  • Collect market intelligence and provide feedback on performance objectives, technology and reporting needs
  • Build, develop and scale client roster of advertisers start to finish
  • Represent Gap Brands in the media and advertising industry
  • Execute steps throughout the sales cycle to consistently exceed growth goals

Who You Are

  • 5+ years of programmatic media sales in Media/advertising
  • Proven record in digital advertising of building partnerships with agencies and brand marketers
  • Demonstrated track record of creating and growing new business
  • Dynamic, entrepreneurial spirit with capability of engaging others at all levels of organizations
  • Experience leading strategy for engagement, developing solutions for partnership, and fostering enduring relationships with top decision makers
  • Passion for the digital media business and energy to continuously exceed goals
  • Team player with vision
  • Ideally in San Francisco, New York, Chicago or major market
