Assistant Teaching Professor of Biology

The Biology Department at Widener University is seeking a full time non-tenure track Assistant Professor of Teaching starting in the Spring semester of 2019. This is a permanent line and the appointment may be renewed on an annual basis. Primary responsibility is teaching lecture and lab in a two-semester Anatomy and Physiology sequence. Opportunities will be available to teach courses such as majors' level anatomy, kinesiology, human biomechanics or other courses in the candidate's area of specialization for pre-physical therapy and other pre-health professions undergraduates.

Job Qualifications:

A PhD in Biology and teaching experience in anatomy and physiology and related courses are required.
