â?¢Must have 3-5 years experience in food preparation and serving. â?¢ Ability to work with limited supervision. â?¢ Must be able to read, write, and follow instructions. â?¢ Must be able to lift and carry trays not in excess of 50 pounds. â?¢ Must be able to work rotating shifts which consist of (6:00am-2:30pm/12:00pm - 7:30pm) including weekends and holidays. â?¢ Assist with the duties of the Supervisor in their absence; observing all safety rules and regulations.

Minimum Qualifications

â?¢ â?¢Great customer service and communication skills. â?¢Strong leadership and supervisory skills is a plus. â?¢Ability to work in a team environment. â?¢Serve Safe Certification and/or ability to obtain within 6 months of employment. â?¢Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, cost controls and operating and repairing food service equipment. â?¢Sets up and breaks down work stations. â?¢Maintains a clean and sanitary work station. â?¢Cooks and prepares food according to production guidelines and recipes. â?¢Knowledge of food product, identification, and acceptable level of food quality. â?¢Ensures food is stored at the appropriate temperature for the appropriate length of time and follows all food safety standards. â?¢Completes daily temperature logs. â?¢Must know methods of food preparation, cooking times, and portion sizes to ensure food is prepared in prescribed manner. â?¢Evaluates food quality and preparedness by tasting. â?¢Responsible for using correct portions when cutting, preparing, and serving items. â?¢Adheres to weekly/monthly cleaning schedules as posted by management. â?¢Demonstrated ability to monitor and supervise the work of others. â?¢Ability to perform the essential physical requirements of the position which may include standing for long periods of time, walking, loading and unloading food carts on and off the truck for delivery, frequent lifting/transporting hot food items, ability to work inside the kitchen area, interact with heated equipment, steam, loud noise, chemicals and other at risk conditions. Involves repetitive motion. â?¢Knowledge of the Board of Health food safety regulations and demonstrated ability to adhere to them. â?¢Ability to work various shifts (split shifts every other weekend) and on call for day shift, when needed. â?¢Must have a valid Driverâs License.

Preferred Qualifications

â?¢Certified Food Manager preferred. Experience in residential food service work, food consistencies, or diet requirements are preferred.

AN FBI background check and drug screening will be required prior to employment.
