You’ll be working with some of the most knowledgeable (and patented!) experts in the industry, globally.

In this highly impactful position, you’ll be working with a small, dedicated team where you’ll have the opportunity to develop products from concept all the way through implementation.

You’ll design and develop embedded software and integrate this with hardware to create products meeting industry needs. Critical to success will be the innovative application of technology using problem-solving and communication skills as an individual contributing to the success of the product and the team. In this role, you will see your product through manufacturing support, system installation, commissioning and maintenance:

  • Design, develop, document, test and debug software and hardware systems. This will include selecting hardware components, developing algorithms, writing/debugging embedded software (C++), and integrating software with hardware resulting in a product that meets customers’ needs

  • Support manufacturing and assembly operations

  • Troubleshoot systems integration issues

  • Provide field support of system installations, commissioning, and troubleshooting

In this role, you’ll travel 10 – 15% globally.

You will have a bachelor’s degree in engineering (Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electronic, Electrical, Electrical Engineering Technology, or Mechatronics)

coupled with 5+ years of experience in embedded software development in C and/or C++

Preferred qualifications include:

  • Familiarity with microprocessor circuit designs.

  • Knowledge of user interface design

  • Knowledgeable of industry standard hardware development principles and practices.

  • Wireless network design and development experience.

  • Experience with serial interfaces, such as SPI, I2C, UART, USB and Ethernet
