Omni-Channel Business Development Manager

The Omni-Channel Business Development Manager will play a key role in CBL's New Business Venture group by: (1) identifying e-tailers who are migrating into physical retail, and develop strategic relationships at the highest levels of those organizations; (2) analyzing and optimizing short and long term omni-channel retailer and consumer analytics; (3) work as a liaison across the CBL organization, uniting marketing channels such as web, paid media, CRM, social media and search around the guest journey; (4) deliver data-driven insights and translatable business use-cases from dashboards, attribution, retailer data, consumer insights and business intelligence reports – aligning measurement objectives and methodologies with overarching business strategies and priorities.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

* Review and develop solutions for traditional retailers and e-tailers, including deal proposal, data design, and delivery of key performance analytics. As such, the Manager must possess a passion for the omni-channel retail environment, maintain a knowledge of industry trends, opportunities, channels, products, and competitors to support the identification of new business opportunities.

* Prepare and deliver in-person presentations, client corporate office demonstrations, client portfolio reviews, and remote presentations via tools such as Skype and Webex.

* This role will require travel, some conference panel discussions, vendor relationship management, interaction with system developers, teaming with information technology, leasing, and marketing personnel, and hands on data aggregation and analytics.

* Assist in the performance of other special duties and projects as needed in support of organizational goals.

* Develop and deliver weekly KPI reports – providing strategic recommendations to inform and optimize future omni-channel strategy and business strategy.

* Provide analytical support and analysis specific to retail operations, programmatic ad buying services, telecommunications services, and consumer analytics services for traditional retailers and e-tailers;

* Identify successes, trends, and anomalies, making recommendations where appropriate to improve business performance;

* Provide omni-channel analytics, insights and optimization for best practices within the Marketing, Specialty Leasing, Permanent Leasing, and Innovation & New Business Ventures group;

* Team with other CBL leaders to generate actionable knowledge-driven insights and analysis and proactively share with key stakeholders;

* Support development, review, enhancement, and consolidation of technology platforms;

* Support cross-department analytic needs in relation to consumer data, targeting, modeling, strategy, personalization and advanced analytics

* Develop test and learn plans, including A/B and multivariate testing, to provide insights and optimization recommendations to business questions;

* Fully understand and effectively communicate all data, technology, and retailer services being offered;

* Prepare robust analytics reports and presentations.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

* Bachelor's degree in a business related field with a minimum of 5 years of experience.

* Experience in software sales and/or services with preference in the retail industry.

* Experience in systems support, data/reporting support, and/or consulting in the retail and/or real estate industries is a plus.

* Experience analyzing data and preparing presentations.

* Experience in making confident and persuasive presentations and recommendations (internal and external), including the ability to communicate complex ideas and recommendations that highlights a clear decision framework based on analysis and experience

* A track record of performance meeting targets and objectives;

* Strong analytical, problem-solving, time management, and communication skills;

* Experience with business intelligence reporting tools and dashboards

* Demonstrated ability to learn new business processes and technologies;

* Demonstrated ability to work well with others;

* Experience with productivity tools such as Word, Excel (moderate to advanced), PowerPoint, Email, WebEx, and/or Skype for Business.
