  • T​his job is a member of the Planning and Administration Team within the Customer Experience Division.
  • Responsible for partnering with internal; and external management working groups to evaluate, develop, and justify all phases of project planning and implementation.

What you'll do

  • Oversee concurrent, diverse and time-sensitive projects from inception to completion in various areas, including, but not limited to, all airport work areas and work functions
  • Leverages knowledge of continuous improvement tools and methodologies to drive process improvement
  • Works collaboratively with cross-functional groups to create comprehensive strategies and solutions to include the corporate teams and CLT Airport
  • Uses data analysis to support and justify projects and proposals
  • Tracks project progress and identifies project opportunities
  • Presents projects, risk and issues to the Airport leadership team
  • Prepares business case justifications in support of business and resource requisitions

All you'll need for success

Minimum Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience

  • ​Undergraduate degree in relevant field or equivalent experience/training
  • 1 Year of Project Management experience
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office to include MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Presentation building experience with PowerPoint
  • Excellent Interpersonal skills
  • Excellent analytical skills

Preferred Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience

  • Project Management and continuous Experience with Lean/Six Sigma
  • 1 year of airline experience
  • 1 year Experience in Finance or proven understanding of cost accounting

Skills, Licenses & Certifications

  • Ability to lead projects and influence decisions
  • Ability to fulfill FAA criminal background checks to qualify for unescorted access privileges to airport security identification display areas (SIDA), if applicable
  • Ability to secure appropriate airport authority and/or US Customs security badges, if applicable
