Senior Network and Security Administrator - contract to hire

The Senior Network and Security Administrator is responsible for the implementation and management of the network and security infrastructure for the global organization including our US headquarters and all connected country offices. This includes the design, procurement, implementation and support of all hardware, software, and services necessary to support the Ipas global networking environment which encompasses developing nations. All activities are to be performed in accordance with Ipas policy and the ITS strategic plan.


* Manages and supports entire networking infrastructure (LAN, WAN, Wireless, Phones, ISPs, and related communications) of our global organization, including US headquarters and all network-connected country offices• Ensures networks and systems are secure and protected from unauthorized activities and access. Further, ensures any security gaps are properly resolved• Leads and manages network efforts and supporting vendor(s)• Responsible for up-to-date documentation for effective daily operations and mitigation of risk. This includes, but is not limited to, system failure, disaster preparedness, and disaster response• Collaborates with in-country staff and IT partner organizations to achieve maximum efficiency and service levels for all IT functions• Collaborates with ITS team to design, implement, and support networking infrastructure as required to meet new and evolving project, donor, and mission needs• Develops new technology initiatives and can follow project management standards to ensure projects are on budget, on time, and of high quality• Clearly and proactively communicates project status to key stakeholders• Optimizes reporting of key performance indicators for network management, analysis, and presentation to senior leaders• Ensures that all information technology activities and investments are aligned with the organizational goals and strategies, and adheres to the leadership directives• Must be able to articulate technology solutions to key business stakeholders using appropriate presentation tools, like PowerPoint, Excel• Must be able to shift responsibilities based on changes in business needs

* Collaborates and provides leadership for each country office in reference to the design, implementation, and maintenance of network infrastructure • Works with the ITS Team in reference to IT support, helpdesk, and IT training functions• Manages global relationships with external technology vendors and consultants in order to address technology needs and support issues at country office locations located developing nations• Performs other duties as assigned



* Bachelor's degree in related field• 10+ years of experience in relevant technology field • Must have expertise in Cisco and Meraki networking, VoIP, and Microsoft server technologies• Experienced working in a multi-cultural international organization• Ability to travel ~15%• Experience with: • ISP Management, vendor security services • Firewalls, PEN Testing • DHCP, DNS, etc. • Wireless networking • WAN Optimization


* Certifications including CCNP, CCIE, MCSE• Fluent in Spanish• Must demonstrate a capacity for problem-solving, leadership, facilitation, and mentorship • Experience with • Microsoft Lync / Skype for Business • Exchange and Office 365 • Windows Server • SQL Server Administration • EMC storage • Virtualization (Hyper V, VMWare)
