Background:

The Department of the Navy (DON) operates one of the largest combined networks in the world, comprised of the Navy Marine Corps Intranet (NMCI), the Outside the Continental United States (OCONUS) Navy Enterprise Network (ONE-Net), the Marine Corps Enterprise Network (MCEN) and other legacy networks. The Service Management, Integration and Transport (SMIT) program will facilitate an enterprise-wide capability for effective and integrated operations, oversight, responsibility, and accountability for the NMCI and the MCEN, as well as incorporate the ONE-Net into a consolidated enterprise IT services business model. CSRA is currently looking for an industrial and physical security manager in support of the Navy Enterprise Information Technology customer on this program.

Scope:

* Serves as GDIT's Logistics Manager for the Next Generation Enterprise Network (NGEN) Program.

* Manages and oversees network hardware and software inventory control, material handling, transportation and planning. Maintains efficient just in time inventory controls for associated network material.

* Analyzes standard contractual documents, technical data, customer usage data, customer maintenance practices, customer operation characteristics, and related reports for assigned contract to determine spares provisioning or maintenance/repair requirements.

* Develops and oversees execution of logistics plans to distribute supplies where needed to ensure mission.

* Follows established policies, guidelines, and procedures to ensure quality and cost control.

* Conducts distribution and network studies, monitors inventory and analyzes requirements in order to develop strategies to achieve desired delivery times.

* Provides guidance and leadership to staff members.

* Maintains current knowledge of relevant technologies as assigned.

Required Qualifications:

* Must be a U.S. Citizen

* At least 10 years of logistics experience, with a minimum of 5 years of experience performing duties for U.S. Government Information Technology contracts in excess of $10 million (annually).

* Bachelor's degree, from an accredited college or university, in business, information systems, information technology, engineering, or a related field or 5 years additional general experience

* Meet all qualifications for a DoD SECRET Clearance

* Certified in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM)

* Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP)
