Professionally handles incoming calls and internal warm transfers to sell Personal auto, home, and specialty lines on behalf of field sales. Handles Direct Response channel overflow calls. Sells and Services Flood and Wind policies. Utilizes in-depth product knowledge to fulfill customer's needs. Utilizes selling techniques to appropriately overcome objections to achieve sales targets. Conducts first line underwriting risk evaluation in accordance with established rules & guidelines.

Responsibilities:

* Primary responsibility is to provide channel agnostic support for the field sales channel to focus on the customer's needs while appropriately rewarding the channel/representative assigned to the customer.

* Uses knowledge and selling techniques to build value in the product tailored to the customer, overcome objections & solve prospect or policyholder problems to convert leads into sales.

* Advises prospects and policyholders on coverage, coverage limits and regulations.

* Develops quotes and submits applications based on acquired risk information and customer requirements. Cross sells for additional lines of insurance.

* Quotes and sells all Property & Casualty lines of insurance; including complex lines other agents are unable to support.

* Strong understanding of all Personal Insurance departments and operations.

* Point-of-reference for technical/procedural information for Sales and Service personnel. Acts as a liaison between company departments to resolve customer inquiries and complaints.

* Responsible for satisfying ongoing continuing education (C.E.) requirements in order to maintain necessary P&C license.

* Ability to perform in varying work environments serving various roles.

Qualifications:

* Associates degree or equivalent training plus a minimum of 2 years of insurance or sales/service related work experience is required.

* Must have proficient PC, analytical, decision making, and organizational skills.

* Requires strong interpersonal and persuasive skills in order to communicate effectively with customers & prospects, as well as overcome objections to close sales.

* Property & Casualty license required.

* 6 months experience as a Sales Representative meeting all quality and volume standards preferred.
