Job Description

We are currently searching for a Senior Manager IT Compliance to assist our growing and changing IT department with the implementation and maintenance of IT general controls, application controls and other requirements. This position will have exposure to all areas of IT and finance in our global company to develop and execute comprehensive plans regarding the effectiveness of IT controls (e.g. information security, change management, etc.), accuracy of financial records and efficiency of operations.

The preferred candidate must be comfortable in a leadership role and have the ability to analyze complex situations and implement solutions for a multi-billion dollar company. As a leader, this individual must be able to effectively communicate with stakeholders when making recommendations on internal controls and policies based on risk mitigation best practices and experience.

Job Requirements

* Designing, modifying and implementing Information Technology General Controls.

* Manage the planning, executing and reporting phases of the SOX Compliance Program as it relates to the Information Technology General Controls.

* Facilitate and/or provide assistance to the IT Department in developing their mitigation plans to address audit findings and risks identified.

* Manage audit findings and ensure remediation plans are completed by management that effectively mitigate the risks.

* Provide oversight and/or support for business processes and the related controls.

* Provide support to external auditors in the performance of the audits they have been engaged to perform, including working and serving as liaison for Microchip to the audit partners to ensure alignment and ongoing communication on IT controls, business process controls and risk mitigation.

* Assist with implementation requirements associated with mergers and acquisitions.

* Project management responsibilities relating to compliance.

* Provide support for compliance related projects as needed.
