Pharmacy Management Analyst

Position Summary

Supports implementation, maintenance, and distribution of client letters within CVS Health's medical claims engine (Novologix). The position is responsible for managing the operational development and performance of the letter triggering systems within Novologix and works closely with other business teams to manage scheduled and ad hoc projects for new implementation and existing maintenance clients. The position requires extensive knowledge and use of Microsoft Suite of programs and project management experience. Medical prior authorizations, claims, and pharmacy medication knowledge a plus.

There are cross-functional responsibilities to support other departments within CVS Health as required.

* Support client-specific and standard project management through development, implementation, and maintenance initiatives

* Strong verbal and written communication skills for internal and external client facing meetings

* Analyze client letter verbiage and formatting for Novologix system integration

* Direct work with clients to establish letter trigger functionality based on the established drug list and plan required services

* Present analyses and recommendations to internal and external clients

* Manage and prioritize tasks accordingly to meet multiple project deadlines

* Extensive use of Microsoft Suite of programs to perform and manage project workflow

* Monitor and respond to evolving medical and pharmacy regulatory requirements

* Post-implementation client support and product enhancement

* Conform to IT processes, requirements, and conventions to clearly communicate project deployment requirements and assist in resolving system errors

* Assist other business support departments with claims review, prior authorization criteria builds and testing, fee schedules, and client set-ups

Preferred Qualifications

* Experience working within an IT environment

* Skill in analyzing data and reports and generating recommendations for process change.

* Ability to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.

* Ability to make timely and sound decisions based on adequate information

* Ability to identify and use appropriate resources and knowledge to solve problems and resolve issues.

* Ability to identify, document, and implement effective processes and procedures for accomplishing work

* Moderate to Advanced user of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and Outlook)

* Pharmacy experience preferred

Required Qualifications

* 2+ years' experience in a working environment that requires knowledge of Pharmaceuticals, Infusion Products, and Medical Terminology

* 2+ years of demonstrated ability to work independently and manage multiple projects
