Job Summary

The Sr Accounting Coordinator is an integral part of the Property accounting team. The Coordinator performs a broad range of accounting tasks over the life of an asset, such as review and approval of Appropriation Requests, capitalization, depreciation, and retirement of assets. Strong communication skills are important in the regular interactions with the Capital Analysts across the enterprise in providing guidance on fixed asset policies and procedures.

Job Responsibilities

* Under general supervision, performs a broad range of accounting tasks.

* Review & approval of Appropriation Requests, capitalization, depreciation, and retirement of assets.

* Provide guidance on fixed asset policies and procedures

* Provide excellent customer service when.

Basic Qualifications

* Associate's degree in accounting or related field or in absence of a degree a minimum of three years of relatable experience

* Attention to detail

* Proficience in Microsoft Office

* Strong analytical skills

Preferred but not required:

* Experience with SAP
