If so, Goodwill of the Heartland is the place for you. We are looking to hire a full time Quality Technician for our Cedar Rapids Center!
The Quality Technician provides initial training to appropriate staff and clients on the critical to quality characteristics of new or existing industrial contracts, as well as assists with documenting, implementing, and maintaining Goodwill of the Heartland's Quality Management System (QMS) in accordance with the requirements of ISO 9001:2008 without design. This position assists with job set up design, creation/completion of records associated with new project start up, such as visual work instructions, inspection forms, and time studies, as well as operates a forklift to load and unload trucks and move materials to designated areas in the work center, maintaining an orderly work area. The Quality Technician performs industrial subcontract work, as needed to meet customer deadlines, as well as oversees the effectiveness of monitoring and measuring devices, such as, counting scales and testing equipment.
The schedule will be Monday-Friday 8:00am-4:30pm. This position will remain open until filled.
