Your Role with the Company:

The HR Intern support the general Human Resources business by supporting the recruiting, benefits, and employee relations functions.

* Summarize data and prepare reports on topics related to employee survey feedback.

* Present information to employees on HR subjects, when certified.

* Coordinate some aspects of employee service recognition.

* Perform other tasks/functions as necessary.

* Learn about HR processes from a company level to Federal requirements.

* Assist with global HR projects.

* Help develop employer branding for building an attractive work place for millennials.

Cazenovia, NY is a small town southeast of Syracuse. The population is a little more than 7,000 people, but most people live in and around Syracuse. Cazenovia has a medium size lake that is about 3.9 miles long. Syracuse offers great indoor and outdoor actives such as boating, skiing, shopping, farmer's market, zoo, museums, sports, hiking and much more.

Background Profile:

* Currently enrolled and working towards Bachelors Degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration or related field.

* Minimum of 3.0 GPA

* Minimum of a sophomore status to apply. Master's level encouraged as well.

* Strong verbal and written communication skills

* Experience with Microsoft Office- Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook

* Good customer relations.

* Willingness to learn new things.

* Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with managers, supervisors, and employees.

* Ability to prepare complex written reports and other documents.

* Must be able to maintain confidentiality.

* Ability to work independently with minimum supervision.

* Must have reliable transportation
