Key Responsibilities

* Adherence to and maintenance of a safe work environment as per Halliburton policies.

* Design of manufacturing processes, layouts of manufacturing plants, tools, jigs, and assembly lines.

* Lead evaluation and response to new product quotes.

* Provide and develop detailed routers, schedule, quality plans, and costing for new products.

* Knowledge of advanced engineering techniques.

* Knowledge of machining principles and machine capabilities.

* Evaluate product discrepancies to communicate with customers.

* Provide support and guidance to shop floor machinists.

* Ensure quality of product.

* Identify and lead capital project activities.

Minimum Qualifications

* Undergraduate degree in Engineering.

* 10 years of experience.

Preferred Qualifications

* 5 years of experience in a Manufacturing Engineer role.

* Experience developing, implementing, and sustaining lean methodologies on a manufacturing shop floor.

* Experience with Mazak, Mori Seiki, and Okuma machines.

* Experience working in a machine shop or similar shop that offers services/products to customers.

* Knowledge of basic machining capabilities and best practices.

* Experience scheduling and planning in a manufacturing environment.

* Superior communication abilities with experience reporting to senior management.

* Basic understanding of manufacturing cost structures and critical cost metrics.
