1. Oversee that materials are received, stored, shipped, and reported in accordance

with established procedures.

2. Direct and supervise warehouse staff.

3. Review effectiveness of operating procedures, maintenance, space utilization, and

protection of equipment.

4. Make recommendations for improvements as required.

5. May initiate and communicate a variety of personnel actions; e.g., employment,

termination, performance and salary reviews, disciplinary actions, scheduling

and/or approving overtime.


Education: 2-year college degree or equivalent combination of education and experience. Minimum 3 to 5 years required Management Experience: Minimum 1 to 3 years of staff management required

Essential Functions/Physical Requirements: Depending on work assignment, may require ordinary ambulatory skills sufficient to visit other locations; or the ability to stand, walk and manipulate (lift, carry, move) light to medium weights of up to 20 pounds.

May travel and participate in meetings and conferences throughout

chapter jurisdiction, state and Red Cross system. Because the Red Cross is a disaster response organization, staff may be asked to be on 24-hour call during period of major disaster.
