Summary:

Support the Accessory Inventory Manager and Accessory Inventory Planners by utilizing data analytics within supply chain. Gather data and conduct analysis with the goal of improving the organization's supply chain operations. Review all stages of Accessory fulfillment to the end customer to help identify underperforming areas in the supply chain. Suggest improvements in the areas of cost reduction, process improvements bottlenecks at the Regional Distribution Centers (RDCs)/Ports, transportation, inventory levels, and planning system parameters.

Responsibilities:

Analyze Vehicle Model Mix – Review and analyze vehicle rollouts in order to provide model mix detail to support Accessory Inventory Planning.

Analyze Accessory Penetration Rates – Review and analyze historical sales data to provide details that will support Accessory Inventory Planning.

Obtain and analyze data from various sources to identify problematic areas and suggest improvements.

Supply Chain Optimization- Review and suggest cost reduction opportunities.

Independent Distributor Planning – Place weekly orders while reviewing Independent distributor vehicle forecast, managing inventory levels, and End of Model planning.

Owner Information Kit Planning- Review vehicle forecast and place weekly/daily orders to suppliers. Manage End of Year model build out to reduce inventory levels.

Collaborate with IT professionals to implement effective systems- Electronic Data Interchange, Oracle Business Intelligence, Accessory Planning system

Track KPIs, report on supply chain's performance, and provide feedback to Inventory Planners.

First in First Out (FIFO) Planning- Managing inventory with expiration dates.

Control the order process of building Accessories at the RDCs, which involves Bill of Material planning and working with Warehouse personnel in locations throughout the country under tight timelines to build finished goods.

Manage the Accessory Returnable crate program- Inventory and Expansion.

Lead group meetings and present to all levels of the organization.

Required Skills and Abilities:

Experience in data mining, analysis and reporting.

Communicate on inventory availability with all levels of the organization on a monthly basis.

Familiarity with supply chain processes (inventory planning, warehouse management).

Analytical mind with business acumen.

Strong attention to detail.

Outstanding organizational ability.

Education/Experience:

Bachelor's degree and 4-6 years of experience.
