Responsible for overseeing the design and development of various simulation platforms used for testing the FSW/GNC being developed for aerospace vehicles. Involves consuming various types of models (sensors, dynamics, environment, etc.) and software components (command and data handling, communications processing, etc.) and integrating them on a simulation workstation connected to avionics hardware into configurations representative of the real world system.
- Proficient in C/C++ development in a Linux environment (Bash, GCC, GNU Make, GDB, etc.)
- Ability to pick up new tools on the fly (Python, Qt, Web Development, etc.)
- Experience with communications protocols and hardware drivers
- Familiarity with Matlab/Simulink is a plus
- Familiarity with GNC systems and 6DOF dynamics is a plus
- Applicants selected for this position will be required to obtain and maintain a government security clearance.
