    The Sensor Integration & Test Group at Draper is seeking a Systems Engineer to help integrate and evaluate robust GN&C (Guidance, Navigation and Control) sensors for a wide variety of applications, including defense systems. Tasking will include executing simulation testing with sensor models, test planning and test procedure development, executing static and dynamic testing of sensor packages, and analyzing sensor performance.


    Required Qualifications:

    • BS degree in applicable engineering discipline (Mechanical, Electrical, Aerospace, Physics, or equivalent) and 2+ years of direct experience with the development, integration and test of complex sensors or systems.

    • Experience using Matlab, Simulink, or other comparable tools.

    • System integration and testing experience for complex sensor and actuator systems.

    • Knowledge of data analysis methods and data analytics tools.

    Preferred Qualifications

    • MS degree in applicable engineering or technical discipline.

    • Previous experience developing high-level test plans and detailed test procedures in accordance with system design specifications, mil-standards, etc.

    • Knowledge of simulation and modeling tools.

    • Knowledge of digital signal processing, control theory, or mixed-signal hardware systems.

    • Experience integrating and testing complex hardware/software systems and supporting hands-on troubleshooting or debug.

    Security Clearance Required:

    • Applicants selected for this position will be required to obtain and maintain a government security clearance.
