    Draper is seeking a Compiler Engineer to support current and future programs in the domain of Secure Processing. Draper has developed an Inherently Secure Processor (ISP), which is a tagged architecture built on top of RISC-V. Draper has many exciting funded opportunities in this area to develop state-of-the-art security in RISC-V processors.


    Desired Skills and Experience:

    • B.S., M.S, or Phd in Computer Engineering, Computer Science or related discipline

    • Strong C/C++ programming skills

    • Knowledge of embedded systems, computer science concepts, and computer security concepts

    • Experience in design and development of programming languages and environments, program analysis, compiler technology and related tools (e.g. performance analysis and benchmarking) preferred.

    • Experience in designing and implementing various phases of a compiler pipeline, especially with front and back-end optimizations, internal representations, and code generation.

    • Experience in contributing to production compiler codebases (e.g. GCC or LLVM)

    • Experience with RISC processors is a plus

    • This position will require the ability to obtain a US Security Clearance.  Main requirement for a security clearance is  US Citizenship.
