Associate Director, HCP Marketing Rare Disease/Pompe Disease, Cambridge, MA

The Associate Director, HCP Marketing Pompe Disease will provide strategic leadership for the global commercial planning and execution for HCP activities.

This position reports to the VP Global TA Head Rare Neurology. This position must collaborate thoroughly and strongly with the Senior Director and Director for Pompe Disease. The role will be highly cross-functional, will require close interaction with regions and key countries, and involve leveraging synergies through a strong collaboration with all Rare Diseases teams.

Main Responsibilities:

Global HCP strategy and programs:

* Lead global congress strategy and execution

* Lead KOL engagement strategy and tactics in close collaboration with Medical Affairs

* Lead HCP digital strategy, develop initiatives and ensuring regional and local pull-through of Pompe HCP Brand strategy and promotional platform

HCP Patient finding strategies and Tactics:

* Support the global Pompe initiatives to accelerate patient diagnosis in Pompe Disease

* Lead the development of innovative patient finding tactics including EHR, data mining and other digital platforms

* Implement global patient finding initiatives e.g. HCP peer to peer education

* Develop and implement other HCP Find strategy tools and activities

* Manage Pompe promotional budget, vendors, timelines, deliverables

* Design and execute other select Pompe promotional tactics, as defined in the Global Pompe Brand Plan

Global training:

* Collaborate with Franchise operations and ensure the development and implementation of a robust training platform for Pompe disease

* Manage content updates for global training platform. Ensure deployment of training for new hires / new team members

Team collaboration:

* Contributor to the Pompe Portfolio Brand planning, specifically on HCP strategies and programs

* Responsible for coordinating cross-functional teams (including but not limited to Medical Affairs, Regulatory, Legal, Competitive and Business intelligence, Value and Market Access, LCM, Regions representatives) to execute HCP programs and support the markets

* Provide global commercial input in the Global Pompe Brand team

Basic Qualifications:

* BA/BS degree, scientific background preferred

* 7+ years marketing experience in the biotech, pharmaceutical and / or medical device industries

* Global commercial experience and regional/country commercial experience

* Rare Diseases experience preferred

* Must thrive working in a fast-paced, multi-cultural, fast-changing environment while remaining flexible, proactive, resourceful and efficient.

* Natural inclination toward action; results-oriented and motivated self-starter; Strong project management skills and the ability to juggle numerous issues at the same time

* Excellent interpersonal skills, communication skills and listening skills, ability to develop important relationships with multinational stakeholders, good conflict management and negotiation skills, ability to analyze complex issues to develop relevant and realistic plans, programs and recommendations.

* Demonstrated ability to translate strategy into action; excellent analytical skills and an ability to communicate complex issues in a simple way and to orchestrate plans to resolve issues and mitigate risks.

* Demonstrated success working collaboratively across functions, cultures and countries

* Ability to work with, motivate, and manage agency partners

* Ability to build positive working relationships, both with regional and country-based stakeholders

* Excellent PowerPoint and Excel skills

* Ability to travel up to 20% of the time, including some weekends; and hold valid international passport
