Music is seeking applicants for Classroom Methods and Materials Specialist, Keyboard Specialist, Theory Specialist, Music Technology Specialist, Audio Recording Specialist, Vocal Specialist, Instrumental Specialists in the areas of brass, woodwind, percussion, piano, guitar and strings, and other areas as needed.

California University of Pennsylvania is seeking applicants for inclusion in a temporary faculty resume file to be in effect from spring 2013 through fall 2014.

Also, in accordance with the terms of the collective bargaining agreement between the Pennsylvania State System of Higher Education and APSCUF, the successful applicant might be assigned to perform work at off-campus sites, in the evening/weekend college and/or provide instruction through distance education.

In order to be considered in this search, in addition to the aforementioned requirements, the applicant minimally must be fluent in the English language, be able to communicate well, demonstrate outstanding potential for excellence in teaching through a successful interview and/or classroom demonstration and be experienced in the use of innovative curricular approaches that are student-centered, inquiry-based, and hands-on oriented.

Minimum of Education / Training:

Bachelor of Music or the recognized equivalency within the music field.
