RUNNER/ATTENDANT - VALET (PT) JOB SUMMARY

Great all guests upon arrival to the resort, ensure doors are opened in cars, guests are assisted out of the car, and welcomed to the property. Valet park cars for guests, and retrieve cars upon request.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

* Greet and welcome guests to the Resort.

* Safely park and or retrieve guests car into the Valet Parking area.

* Be able to efficiently drive a manual transmission vehicle.

* Ensure 4-Star/4-Diamond level service is delivered to all guests arriving at the Casino.

* Greet guest with a smile and proper greeting.

* Performs other job related duties as assigned.

Requirements:

QUALIFICATIONS:

Excellent verbal skills. Ability to maintain strict confidentiality of classified information. Ability to tactfully and diplomatically deal with the public and staff. Must possess excellent business sense and high professional ethics. Must possess a high regard for customer service and employee relations.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

Minimum 1 - 2 years experience in Resort Bell/Valet/Door Service operations. Casino experience preferred but not required. High School diploma or GED required.

LICENSE OR CERTIFICATES:

Valid drivers license and the ability to pass a NIGC key license background.

LANGUAGE SKILLS:

Must be able to read, write & speak English. Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals. Must have the ability to write routine reports and correspondence and to speak effectively with customers or employees of organization.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:

Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals.

REASONING ABILITY:

Must have the ability to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form and have the judgment to decide which procedures apply to a variety of situations. Must reason with people effectively yet cordially.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit and often will stand or walk. The employee frequently is required to reach with arms and use hands to manipulate or feel. The employee might occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. This position requires the employee to have the ability to hear and possess close vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

The duties of this position are typically performed outside of the casino, thus exposing employee to occasional high temperatures and moderate noise.

WORKING HOURS:

Working hours may include scheduled shifts Monday through Sunday. Normal work schedules may vary based on business needs. Position may require availability for evenings, weekends, holidays and special events. Typical workweek may vary depending on business needs. Position may require overtime.
