JobOverview

ConductRetail Training courses for dealer client contact and MBUSA internal personnelin support of MBUSA Education & development objectives, regional andindividual market needs, and MBUSA corporate mission and vision objectives.

Responsibilities

Conductassigned retail training courses, developing and/or revising training guidesand lesson plans to tailor materials to varied audiences, maintaining thehighest standards for quality, innovation and client focus. Assist curriculumdevelopers with development of course curriculumand training materials. Ensure measurable, effective application and use oftraining and development at retail as evidenced by improved behaviors,knowledge and skills. Collaborate with the Market Teams, and Education Supervisor and Team Leader, to assureEducation & Development initiatives effectively reach target clients,providing reporting feedback and follow-up as required. Assist in conductingneeds analysis to identify performance/competency gaps in meeting corporateobjectives. Cross-train in MBUSA Technical courses to increase understanding ofMB technology systems, diagnostic and repair procedures.

Education

BachelorsDegree (accredited school) or equivalent work experience with emphasis in:

AdultLearning

Computer/InformationScience

Facilitationskills using Blended Learning Theory

Qualifications

Musthave 5 years (total) of experience in the following:

  • Automotive-RetailProficient Knowledge of retail processes and procedures, with emphasis in newand pre-owned sales, accessories, service and parts.
  • Automotive -TechnicalGeneral Knowledge of automotive technical information systems andrepair/diagnostic procedures
  • Business - GeneralKnowledge of fundamental business practices and concepts that impact thesuccess and profitability of the organization.
  • Business ManagementProficient Knowledge of business and management principles involved instrategic planning, resource allocation, leadership technique, human resourcemanagement and efficiency and process methods.
  • Communications PlanningGeneral Knowledge of marketing research sources and data analysis techniques,marketing plan development process, strategic and creative integrationtechniques, marketing team organization and operational processes.
  • Education ComprehensiveKnowledge of principles and methods for curriculum and training design,including adult learning theory, teaching and instruction for individuals andgroups, and the measurement of training effects.
