Job Description BAE Systems is looking to hire a security professional to work under the guidance and direction of the Burlington Security Manager. The assignments of the Senior Security Specialist are focused on administering a robust security program for several projects in multiple locations. They assist the CPSO and/or FSO with implementing all requisite national security directives with specific emphasis on the NISPOM and DoD 5205.07 SAP Manual, Vols 1-4, and exhibits the dedication and expectation of a security professional while working and making decisions independently without direct supervision. The selected person will work as a team player, exhibit flexibility, set priorities, and manage customer expectations in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. They will interact with internal and external customers and/or Government security officials in performance of security duties.Typical Education & Experience Bachelor's Degree and 4 years work experience or equivalent experienceRequired Skills and Education
  • Bachelor’s degree and internship experience in a security field or 4-6 years of experience in lieu of degree
  • Active Top Secret clearance or deactivated Top Secret within the past two years
  • Exceptional administrative & organizational skills
  • Ability to manage time, make sound decisions, take direction from others, analyze problems, and provide focused solutions
  • Must have a professional demeanor, good people skills, effective communication, and the ability to perform in a multi-tasked, fast paced, dynamic environment
Preferred Skills and Education
  • Active Top Secret Clearance
  • Completion of Introduction to SAPs via DSSA
