About the Role

The Technical Recruiter role is a newly created, hands-on role that provides full-cycle recruiting services to our hiring managers, with a focus on technical (Eng, Product, Design, Data Science) and other key open roles at Lyra. In this role, you will be helping to build and scale an early stage tech startup experiencing rapid growth. We are seeking a self-starter with a passion for innovative solutions, demonstrated experience sourcing and closing candidates, and enthusiasm for creating a memorable candidate experience that aligns with our mission and culture.

What You’ll Do:

  • Work closely with hiring managers to develop ideal candidate profiles and create compelling job descriptions, including level expectations and compensation
  • Build a strong candidate pipeline for each role that you own
  • Prescreen candidates to assess for technicality and general fit
  • Create a memorable candidate experience from sourcing to close that is high-touch, engaging, and true to our employer brand and mission
  • Develop close relationships with our hiring managers and will be able to influence and advise managers and interviewers throughout the process to ensure we have a cohesive approach to recruiting
  • Streamline current practices of different teams for alignment on best practices, while allowing each team to keep the positive things that make them unique
  • Work with hiring managers on closing candidates and negotiating compensation packages

Who You Are:

  • 6+ years of recruiting experience with 2+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience required
  • Proven track record of building strong pipelines and closing high-quality candidates
  • Able to communicate clearly with and influence others while also making them feel understood and heard
  • Excited about rolling up your sleeves and doing whatever it takes to get the job done in a face-paced environment
  • Able to work collaboratively across all levels of the company and with candidates at all levels
  • Experience with a wide variety of systems and tools (e.g. Lever, Google Suite, Excel, Powerpoint, Word)
  • Bachelor’s degree required
