Speech Language Pathologist

The Speech Language Pathologist "SLP" is responsible for the evaluation, diagnosis, and recommendation for therapeutic intervention for individuals with communication disorders in an educational setting. In addition, responsibilities include the implementation of an appropriate Speech-Language Pathology treatment program designed to habilitate or rehabilitate the communicatively impaired student.

This is a 10 month position working in Western New York school settings with ages K-12 with a start date of August 28th.

Requirements

Required Education

* Master's degree from University/College of an ASHA accredited speech language pathology program

Required Licensure & Teaching Credentials

* New York State licensed Speech-Language Pathologist or eligible for Clinical Fellowship (CF)

* Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology issued by the American Speech-Language Hearing Association (ASHA) or eligible for Clinical Fellowship (CF)

* Holds NYS TSHH or TSSLD certification, or eligible
