Associate, Corporate Strategy

The Associate, Corporate Strategy will contribute to shaping and executing on the strategic priorities of Myovant Sciences, reporting to the Senior Manager, Corporate Strategy. The Associate will partner with the Senior Manager, Corporate Strategy to identify, evaluate, and execute on opportunities to drive high-priority corporate initiatives as well as operational excellence within the team. He/she will be responsible for managing existing partnerships and following industry news to inform corporate strategy and to identify and diligence new partnership and coalition opportunities. He/she will drive company research and planning around digital health and manage related initiatives. This role will combine creative and forward-looking strategy development with end-to-end responsibility for the identification, planning, and execution of projects and initiatives. The Associate, Corporate Strategy will partner closely with relevant liaisons at partner organizations, as well as internal functions including commercial, medical affairs, health economics and outcomes research, corporate communications, and clinical development.


Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Lead the development and implementation of strategic corporate initiatives

  • Serve as key resource on new developments and insights from biotech and digital health and lead the incorporation of these developments, ideas, and strategies into corporate initiatives

  • Contribute to development of Myovant’s digital strategy plan with clear and actionable objectives, strategies, and tactics

  • Serve as a trusted and credible ambassador for existing and prospective strategic partners, ensuring understanding of specific challenges and needs and identifying mutually beneficial opportunities

  • Develop innovative approaches for engaging external organizations, educating them about Myovant, and partnering with them on issues and projects of shared importance

  • Foster strong partnerships with medical affairs, commercial, clinical development, and other functions to ensure aligned objectives and to identify opportunities and needs for digital engagement

  • Maintain contacts and relationships related to external opportunities consistent with corporate strategy development opportunities

  • Contribute to development of strategic and operational frameworks, processes, and materials

  • Contribute to corporate communications and advocacy workstreams as assigned, including Female Forward Together

  • Advance the company mission through other operational initiatives, tasks, and assignments, as needed

  • Maintain discretion, complete confidentiality, and protect the reputation of the Office of the CEO in all interactions in which the company is represented

  • BA or BS degree

  • 1-3 years of progressive experience in leading and managing projects and initiatives

  • Demonstrated leadership skills and exceptional potential based upon prior academic and/or industry experience

  • Strong computer, organizational, and management skills.

  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.

  • Has proven successful experience in a cross-functional project team

  • Has proven successful experience with digital health and/or product management

  • Has proven successful track record of establishing effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders to achieve high-quality, compliant, and effective digital initiatives

  • Project management experience and/or certification is a plus

  • PC literacy required; MSOffice skills (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

  • Knowledge in women’s health and/or prostate cancer therapy highly desirable

Travel, Physical Demands and Work Environment (As Appropriate for the Position)

  • Regularly required to operate standard office equipment (personal computer, photocopy machine, etc.)

  • Ability to work on a computer for extended periods of time

  • Regularly required to sit for long periods of time, and occasionally stand and walk

  • Regularly required to use hands to operate computer and other office equipment.

  • Close vision required for computer usage

  • Occasionally required to stoop, kneel, climb and lift up to 20 pounds

  • Occasional travel as required for business needs, not to exceed 30% time
