The Opportunity:

Partnering with other managers in Information Services department, this position will lead the Infrastructure and Operations teams with overall responsibility for technology infrastructure planning and deployment of technology services including contact center and telecom systems. This hands-on position will be required to develop and lead the support team, make technical decisions and work closely with cross functional business areas and IT groups.

The Position:

The Sr. Manager of Infrastructure and Operations is responsible for the implementation and operation of all technology infrastructure deployed, which includes data center, network and server services, telephony, service monitoring, workstation management, servers, storage and related software. This position is operationally responsible for ensuring the availability, integrity, and security for all IT systems and infrastructure.

* Primary responsibility is to keep technical Infrastructure up and running efficiently.

* Manage the teams of Network Support, Server Support and Workstation Support Analysts to support Operations for 1500+ users.

* Has overall responsibility for planning, directing and coordinating Operations & Infrastructure activities.

* Works to ensure that all major operational activities, associated quality and integrity is consistent with IT methodology and best practices.

* Delivers reliable and quality infrastructure into the production environment.

* Provide technical leadership, clarity and direction for on-site resources and vendor teams.

* Ensures technical standards and architecture designs are followed.

* Establish and maintain standards and procedures for Operational reporting and documentation.

* Keep close contact with key Vendor and End-user representatives directly to ensure technologies are providing specified capabilities to customers.

* Gets efforts off the ground, keeps them on track and on budget, and resolve issues with customers.

* Leads the effort in creative approaches to problem solving and quality deliverables supporting business needs.

Requirements:

* Bachelor's degree in computer science, business administration, engineering or a related discipline with an information technology focus; highly desirable to have M.B.A. degree or equivalent.

* Minimum of six years of experience in managing IT Infrastructure operations.

* Working and hand-on knowledge and experience in the following technologies:

* Microsoft Server, Active Directory, SQL Server database and messaging.

* EMC Storage Area Network (SAN).

* Cisco-based network communications and IP Telephony (CCM, CCX).

* Cloud technologies such as Office 365, Azure, Amazon or similar.

* Citrix, VMware and desktop management.

* Information Security (SIEM - LogRhythm, IPS/IDS, Nessus, etc.)

* Ability to manage internal and external development projects from inception to successful implementation.

* Technical proficiency in hardware and systems software, as well as experience implementing packages and working with vendors.

* Strong knowledge and understanding of business needs, with the ability to establish and maintain a high level of customer trust and confidence.

* Ability to communicate needs and schedules to IT and clients, as well as ensure that plans are in place and standards are adhered to.

* Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate non-direct reporting staff to apply skills and techniques to solve dynamic problems.

* Excellent oral and written communication skills, as well as ability to present and explain technical information in a way that establishes rapport, persuades others and gains understanding.

* Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills at all management levels.
