The National Director of Provider Services and Relations will provide operational, financial and administrative oversight of affiliated providers and provider groups. Reporting to the National Medical Director, this position strengthens alignment between corporate and facility leadership, clinical providers, practice managers and staff to ensure execution of the company's mission. The Director of Provider Services and Relations must possess excellent communication skills, a strategic vision, and a proven track record of delivering results and achieving goals.

Reports to: President/COO


Job Duties:

* Leads the strategic initiatives and ongoing operations of provider groups in support of the overall company strategy

* Coordinates with the National Medical Director, facility CEOs and COOs to project workforce needs and determine optimal employment model for each provider

* Develops tools and systems to provide financial, operational and productivity information at the provider level

* Reports actual financial performance compared to budget and industry benchmarks

* Collaborates with facility leadership (CEOs, COOs, Clinical Directors) and practice managers to ensure budget adherence, fiscal responsibility, provider coverage, provider scheduling, and clinical programming

* Assists National Medical Director and facility leadership in delivering telemedicine and telepsych services to facilities

* Establishes and maintains meaningful relationships with providers

* Assist providers in successfully performing their UR roles

* Leads key performance indicator and financial improvement opportunities for provider groups

* Develops and leads execution of strategic and tactical operational improvement plans to support quality, growth and excellence in operations

* Identifies, implements and ensures ongoing adherence to best practice standards

* Improves efficiencies related to increasing revenue and capacity, quality improvements and expense reduction

* Provides oversight and management of the recruitment and on-boarding process of new physicians

* Negotiates and coordinates provider contracting including compensation terms and contract provisions for new providers and renewals

* Ensures appropriateness of provider compensation model and aligns with fair market value ensuring model performance that is consistent and reasonable including but not limited to base compensation, productivity incentives, quality, call pay, additional shifts, directorships, sign-on bonus and relocation allowance

* Provides direct leadership, supervision and accountability to practice managers overseeing day-to-day operations of provider groups

* Encourages a culture that is focused on quality, innovation and accountability

* Performs other duties as assigned


Job Requirements:

* Bachelor's degree required, preferably in Health Care Administration, Business Administration, Psychology, or related field.

* Minimum 8 years of progressive responsibility and experience in healthcare. Physician practice management experience preferred.

* Excellent analytical and statistical skills

* Excellent verbal and written communication skills

* High proficiency with MS Office (Outlook/Word/Excel/PowerPoint) and related business software

* The position will require travel

* If in personal recovery, a minimum of 2 years clean and sober
