Our client company in Brattleboro, VT has an immediate need for a Human Resources Coordinator on a temporary basis with the potential to become a permanent role. They are open to a flexible schedule of 20-32 hours per week This position is offering $20-$26/hour based on experience.

Your duties/responsibilities as the Human Resources Coordinator

  • Create basic spreadsheets, PowerPoint presentations and other Word documents as directed
  • Oversee and collect new-hire orientation paperwork for personnel files
  • Serve as a contact for new employee onboarding and general employee communications
  • Conduct onboarding for all new and returning hires. Assist with termination administration when necessary
  • Respond to requests for information and assist all employees with a customer service concept to reach objectives of the department
  • Maintain department organization by maintaining filing systems and providing general support where required
  • Responsible for daily management of related records maintenance, both physical and digital
  • Support team member, aid and assist with all phases of human resources activity
  • Monitor and update all human resource leaderboards to ensure applicants are moving along the onboarding process
  • Assist with open enrollment and process employee enrollment changes
  • Schedule meetings and interviews as requested by the director of HR. Order lunches for meetings when necessary
  • Coordinate workers compensation claims to ensure reporting and documentation is timely and accurate
  • Assist in greeting candidates, convey job opening information and share application instructions to candidates, both in-person, via email and by phone
  • Perform quality checks of benefits-related data and run reports
  • Assist with Job Description creation
  • Assist with maintaining company Org Chart
  • Maintain training records
  • All other duties as assigned

Your qualifications for the Human Resources Coordinator position:

  • High School diploma
  • 3 years or more human resources, or equivalent experience
  • PAYLOCITY experience a PLUS!!
  • Able to multitask and prioritize tasks
  • Able to work Independently
  • Experience with onboarding and termination protocols
  • A collaborator and critical thinker
  • Strict attention to detail and time management mastery
  • Is a professional at all times
