POSITION SUMMARYPerforms installations, upgrades and modifications, to Verity software products using proprietary installer, programming, analysis, and technical tools. Confirms delivery of software products by executing documented functionality verification tests. Occasionally assists the client services departments in resolving highly technical issues.ESSENTIAL DUTIES OR RESPONSIBILITIES – (The below listed duties are not all inclusive. This position must also perform other duties as assigned.):Essential Duties

Works with multiple Verity departments as necessary to ensure the successful installation or update of Verity software products.

Communicates any issues/concerns regarding contractual obligations related to successful installation, update, or modification to the Verity product(s) to the Project Manager, Implementation Manager and Senior Manager of Implementation and Upgrades.

Responsible for maintaining master templates of Verity diagnostic scripts and seed databases for ongoing departmental use.

Modification of pre-built web portals requiring functional knowledge of programming languages including but not limited to HTML, SQL, JavaScript, etc.

Performs related duties as required in support of client service goals.

Ensures all installation, update, and modification appointments are performed successfully according to documented functionality verification process.

Collaborates with Project Manager or Implementation Managers to meet with clients during the implementation of installed Verity software products, including on-the-spot troubleshooting as necessary.

JOB SPECIFICATIONS: What specialized, technical, or practical knowledge, skills, experience or abilities are needed to perform the job. (Include degrees, certificates, licenses, or other bona fide job qualifications.)

KNOWLEDGE/EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related discipline.

* 1-2 years of experience with data extraction and transformation tools- Microsoft SQL Server 2005/2008 highly preferred; Visual FoxPro, and/or Oracle 8i/10g desirable.

* A fundamental understanding of relational database theory and set-based logic.

* A fundamental understanding of HTML, SQL, and Javascript

SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED

Ability to write, analyze, and develop SQL code.

Excellent customer service and communication skills.

Strong, well-developed problem solving skills and the ability to learn new technical concepts quickly.

Excellent time-management, organization, prioritization, attention to detail, and documentation skills.

Able to work cooperatively in a team environment.

Ability to learn and adapt to new technologies rapidly.

Extensive computer usage and use of the phone.

Could lift up to 20 lbs.

This position is primarily sedentary in a normal office environment.
