Job Summary:

We are looking for a friendly and energetic individual with Medical Front Office experience to be the first point of contact for our patients. The ideal candidate will have exceptional communication skills and the ability to clearly explain the purpose, mission, and services that Gerber Chiropractic and Younger Reflections has to offer.

Summary of Essential Job Functions:

The Front Desk Billing CA should have knowledge of Nevada insurance: billing and collection practices/ techniques and be skilled in the use of computers, particularly Microsoft Office suite: Excel & Word. Must be accurate, concise and detail-oriented and have the ability to communicate effectively with patients and their families. Knowledge of HIPAA guidelines, It is important maintain confidentiality of patient information. Requires a High School diploma (or equivalent) and one year of experience in a Medical office or School equivalent with background in Insurance billing/accounts receivable (preferred).


Greet patients and assist patients in education for Chiropractic treatment

Front Desk Duties, check in and check out, scheduling patients, collecting copays/ deductibles/ coinsurance, verifying insurance benefits. Processing EOBs

Other patient account functions; create and update files and records using PC & scanner.

Collect and file documents, correspondence and other printed matter

Perform office duties such as assisting with mailings, answering telephones, taking and relaying messages

Perform other tasks as assigned


$12.00-$14.00 hourly

Minimum Requirements:

* High school diploma or equivalent, with some college/certification preferred.

* Previous Insurance Medical front office experience preferred

* Knowledge on Nevada Insurance

* Able to use office equipment; computer, scanner and phone system

* Proficient with Microsoft Office: Word & Excel

* Familiar with Billing ICD9/10 CM & CPT coding, reading EOBs (Explanation of Benefits), Medical --Terminology using EHR (electronic Health Records) systems.

* Maintain the cleanliness of the clinic and organization of work space

* Maintain a professional appearance and appropriate attire
