RequirementsMacmillan Learning is looking for a VP of Pricing & Commercial Models to join the Finance team. This position will be in charge of management of strategic pricing function across Macmillan Learning and governance of tactical pricing decisions. Active participation in channel partner relationships and business development activities. Based on specific background of candidate additional responsibility areas are possible.

Responsibilities:

* Development of pricing strategy for product groups and different format offerings and facilitation of regular meetings with senior management team for status update / approval.

* Pricing governance around special deal pricing, custom pricing, bundling and development & oversight of pricing experiments. Regular reporting up to senior management.

* Active participation in channel partner relationships and active development of new commercial models across our offerings (incl. institutional offerings).

* Participation in business development activities & projects.

* Team development and management.

Skills/Experience Required:

Strong communication and negotiation skills for dealing with business partners and internal stakeholders. Strong analytical skills and profound knowledge of relevant statistical tools. Strong background in higher education industry.

Experience in strategic consulting, team management experience preferred.

Education Requirements:

BS in Business or related area required, MBA strongly preferred
