Talent Acquisition is strategic to Zipcar's success and continued growth. We are looking for a recruiter that's going to be a true business partner charged with finding, attracting, and hiring top talent into all parts of the organization against a high bar for performance, potential, and culture-fit. You will be responsible for building out this function at Zipcar and be responsible for sourcing, screening and acquiring top talent. In this role you will generate a talent pipeline and guide candidates through the hiring process and you will partner with internal stakeholders and hiring managers, to identify talent that meets the competencies for open positions. You'll also serve as one of the faces for the Zipcar employer brand when networking with candidates in the external market.

To be successful in this demanding role, your proven track record will enable you to deliver against the following:

Duties and Responsibilities

* Partner with the Zipcar HR Director, the TA Director, and the Zipcar leadership team to develop a Zipcar Talent Acquisition strategy and lead key initiatives to ensure quality talent pipelines

* Recruit top technical talent and achieve hiring goals within budget

* Execute the sourcing, screening, interviewing, evaluation, and offer negotiation process

* Provide an efficient, high-touch experience for all candidates throughout the key stages of their application, offer, and pre-employment

* Serve as a first point of contact for candidates and recruitment partners

* Partner with hiring managers to facilitate stages of application, offer, and pre-employment

* Communicate effectively with candidates, hiring managers, interviewers, and other stakeholders

* Work with managers to develop effective job descriptions to accurately explain functions of and qualifications for individual roles

* Manage new-hire onboarding from acceptance to first day of employment, including partnering with managers to ensure a smooth onboarding process.

* Oversee all postings for Zipcar's open technical positions on appropriate posting boards, via Zipcar's Applicant Tracking System (ATS), eArcu

* Manage employee referral program, including internal promotion and processing bonuses.

* Create and run weekly and monthly recruitment metric reports. Analyse results and make recommendations on data

* Manage all campus and community recruitment programs and relationships

* Partner with in-house marketing team and the Employee Brand Manager to enhance employment brand and social media presence, including driving recruitment traffic to site

Requirements & Qualifications

To perform this job successfully, an individual should meet the following minimum requirements and qualifications:

* 3-5 years' experience in technical recruitment or other relevant work experience

* Bachelor degree required

* Interest in shared mobility space

* Ability to multi-task on other projects in addition to current role responsibilities

* Ability to produce expected results in a rapidly changing and fast-paces environment

* Excellent communication skills. Ability to communicate to candidates in person, phone or email

* Excellent oral and written communication
