We are currently seeking an experienced OBGYN MFM Registered Nurse to join a dynamic team supporting the OBGYN MFM specialty for our Kenmore practice of Atrius Health/Harvard Vanguard Medical Associates. The schedule for this position is Monday-Friday 4 10 hour shifts or flexible hours. The position will also include working at our Burlington, Wellesley, Quincy, Dedham and Norwood sites.

The OBGYN MFM Nurse is a Registered Nurse (RN) with experience in caring for pregnant women in high risk pregnancies. The MFM Nurse has job responsibilities in the areas of clinical nursing, care coordination, patient and family education and general oversight of the daily operations of the Practice. You will also provide practice management support to a clinical team, recognizing the patient as the central focus, telephone advice to patients and serve as a patient educator in areas related to self-care. Responsible for telephone triage, patient assessment, patient and family teaching, Pre-op teaching, post void trial, IV insertions, staple removal, GDM teaching including GLOOKO, patient care for high risk MFM patients, assist with procedures, NST administration and responsible for abnormal lab tracking and conveying results to patients.

Education: Graduate of a state approved school of nursing. BSN highly preferred. Must maintain Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification.

Skills and Experience: Current/valid license to practice professional nursing in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. Minimum of 2 years OB/GYN MFM experience in direct specialty practice. Ambulatory/outpatient clinic, women's health, labor and delivery experience required. Requires triage experience with ability to support a busy volume of calls. Strong assessment skills, IV skills. EMR and strong computer skills required. Ability to function in a diversified fast pace high risk OB population with high risk teens. Ability to multi-task with thorough and complete follow through including written and oral documentation.
