Tenure-Track Faculty Positions, Information Systems & Operations Management (ISOM) at Sawyer Business School of Suffolk University, Boston, MA

Suffolk University's Sawyer Business School invites applications for multiple full-time faculty positions at the assistant professor level in the Information Systems and Operations Management (ISOM) Department. The anticipated start date is September 2020. Faculty responsibilities for this position include a total teaching load of five courses per academic year (with one course reduction for the initial year), advising and mentoring students, maintaining a productive research and publication agenda, and actively participating in the life of the department, college, and university through departmental services, faculty committees, and other activities.

We are seeking candidates with the following qualifications:

Required qualifications: Information Systems applicants

  • Complete a Ph.D. in Information Systems or related areas from an AACSB accredited institution or equivalent by August 31, 2020.
  • Ability to teach core courses in information systems.
  • Expertise in teaching one or more of the following subjects: mobile, cloud & web application development, cybersecurity (security analytics, applications security, forensic, etc.), programming languages, enterprise systems, system analysis and design, database and data mining & warehousing, and business analytics.
  • Demonstrated strong teaching and research potential.

Required qualifications: Operations Management Applicants

  • Complete a Ph.D. in Operations Management or related areas from an AACSB accredited institution or equivalent by August 31, 2020.
  • Ability to teach core courses in operations management.
  • Expertise in teaching one or more of the following subjects: operations management, business analytics, data science, project management, and supply chain management.
  • Demonstrated strong teaching and research potential.
